About Us
At Joolze we aggregate, sort and summarize all relevant information on energy from experts, users and national databases that give you an easy-to-use site to make decisions about your personal energy choices.
Who Are We
We are consumers of energy just like you. We needed to know more in order to do more to lower our energy consumption and lower our cost of energy consumption. We have experience in technology companies, in utilities and in research organizations. We have found and gathered a lot of very useful stuff after spending over a year searching, understanding and learning how to share it all with you. It was very difficult, time consuming and fun. And we will find more. The good news is, now you don’t have to do all that. You can use Joolze.
Our Founder's Story

"The idea for Joolze came about last summer as the price of gasoline, natural gas, and electricity was going up, what seems like every day. I would get my monthly utility bill and swore to myself that I need to do something about reducing my cost of energy consumption. Like many Americans, I am a passive environmentalist. I recycle diligently, and do try to educate myself on climate change."

"However, I have not changed my lifestyle to reduce my carbon footprint. Instead, what galvanized me to action was my constantly increasing energy bill – both gas and electricity. After spending countless hours on the Internet and making multiple phone calls, I was no closer to making any changes to reduce my energy bill. What I found is that there are a lot of web sites that educate, for example - replace your incandescent light bulbs with fluorescent to reduce consumption. I learnt a lot about “going green, carbon footprint, alternative energy, renewable energy, clean energy, energy efficiency, and energy conservation.” Yet, I could not find information that is specific to my needs, my house, my lifestyle."

Why Joolze?

We created Joolze to give Americans a quick and easy means to find information about their specific personal energy choices. You have many choices to generate renewable energy at home and even get off the power grid - Wind Power, Solar Power, Geothermal. Even your local utility may offer you multiple sources of electricity - Fossil Fuels or Renewable, Coal, Natural Gas, Petroleum, Oil, Hydro. You may have a choice of utilities and ESCOs for electricity and heating. The options are out there. It really should not be so frustrating, difficult and confusing. We will help you figure that out. Simply.
